How to Draw Anime Poses Step by Step
Draw Anime Poses – This study describes the basics of drawing a different shape. The instructions can apply to anime and manga or additional traditional art styles.
Drawing an anime or manga character somewhere can be a challenge. To make things easier (especially for beginners), this tutorial shows examples that come easily to draw angles. It also shows how to use mannequin characters to get shape without details like facial features, clothes, hair, etc.

Draw the torso that bends backward and is slightly smaller in the middle (bend in the back) than the top and bottom.

Draw the neck at almost the same angle as the body.

To show that the body is slightly twisted, draw the breasts slightly above the right of the picture.
Drawing Kicking Status
This is a direct kick as the character tries to kick something down.
Step 1 – Draw the Torso

Step 2 – Draw a Head
Draw the head slightly back but not as much as the body as the character often looks forward / kicking.

Step 4 – Draw Arms

Drawing Jumping Stand
This amazing leap looks similar to the ballet shape but with a few differences.

Step 5 – Draw Neck
Draw the neck slightly backward.

The chest in this position will only be slightly extended and slightly facing the viewer instead of going straight ahead.
Drawing a Flying Kick Pose
This flying kick pose can be used in martial arts/anime manga and comedy.
Step 1 – Draw the Torso
Draw the torso at an angle of about 45 degrees. In this case, there will be a slight bend and twist. Demonstrate this by making them thin in the middle and with both sides bent inwards (mostly at the back).
Step 2 – Draw a Head
Draw the head slightly forward as in this position, and the character will look at the kick’s target.
Step 3 – Draw Legs
Draw a kicking leg with the other leg bent so that the knee is facing slightly opposite the kick.
You will want to draw the upper part of the leg (above the knee) short of showing that it is facing the viewer.
Draw a kicking foot forward with its heel and draw the other leg forward with the toes.
Step 4 – Draw Arms
Move the arm closer to the rear viewer with a slight bend. You can make the elbow area just shorter than normal and the elbow slightly wider to show bending.
Step 5 – Draw Neck
In this case, the neck will not be slightly visible as most of the neck will be covered by the shoulder/arm.
Step 6 – Draw Chest Details
With this twisting of the body, the chest will be looked away. This means you can pull the breasts as just one lump. And remember that the chest will also be pressed against the clothes, so it should be flat.
Conclusion
Drawing scenarios can be very difficult. To make the drawing process easier, start by drawing your characters in the desired positions with a few details as needed to pass the shape. You can add clothes, hair, facial features, and other details later.
When drawing a shape, try and think of the different body parts and how they will move in that action or position. You can also use reference items such as photos or works of other artists.
