Draw a Rice Bowl – This tutorial shows you how to draw six different types of sushi step-by-step examples of each type. These include maki, uramaki, nigiri, ebi nigiri, tamago nigiri and ikura nigiri.

In anime and manga, you often see this kind of food where the characters go out for drinks with their friends. So these are usually older (college years and beyond). If you want to draw food for young characters who may have them, you can check out the link at the end of the lesson.

1 – How To Draw Maki Sushi Step By Step

The first two examples are regular sushi. Maki consists of seaweed wrapped in seaweed with different types of filling in between. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

The example shows that this can be one or a few ingredients.

Step 1 – Draw a Sushi Roll Frame

Drawing a maki roll begins with its outer shape, which should look like a short cylinder. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but one thing you need to make sure of is that the bottom half of each volume is at least a little round. If you draw a scroll, the scroll will look strange.

Step 2 – Completing the Drawing

Inside the roll, draw on the filling.

The first example of a few ingredients is included. These may vary slightly in size depending on what they are. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

There will usually be some kind of fish mixed with vegetables (or just vegetables).

Remember that the roll is viewed at an angle, so try and draw the “flat” ingredients to match the high angle of the roll.

Step 3 – Add Another Kind of Fill

You can also draw a simple version of the symbol with one ingredient, as shown above, as well as a piece of fish or vegetables.

Step 4 – Color in the Maki drawing

The colour in this example is straightforward. Turn seaweed into a dark grey, leave the rice white and colour the other ingredients as you wish. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

For example, fish can be orange/pink, and vegetables can be green.

2 – How to Draw Uramaki Sushi Step By Step

Uramaki is similar to mike but has rice with no seaweed. Since seaweed is a good thing and it isn’t easy to see it in such a roll, you can avoid showing it together.

It is also important to note that this type of sushi may be considered “western” and is not common in anime and manga.

Step 1 – Draw the Basic Text

Just as the previous example begins withdrawing a scroll frame. When drawing with pencil and paper, make sure you do this with very simple lines. Unlike the previous example, you will need to clear this entire situation. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

Step 2 – Add Rice Details and Filling

Using the cylinder as a guide, draw a sushi roll pattern with a series of small, irregular nodules to attach a piece of rice.

To highlight the vertical edge of the scroll, you can create a line of small curves that look like rice grains. You can clear the guidelines (cylinder in the first step) when you are done.

Uramaki usually has more filling than a marker, so completing this pattern will be more peaceful and much larger than rolling. Or you can draw it the same way (note the angle of the scroll).

Step 3 – Add More Rice to Rice

To complete the line drawing, you can add a few tips for the separated rice grains, thereby bending the roll. Do not add any top as the rice will be smooth due to the cut. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

Step 4 – Color in the Uramaki Drawing

Finally, you can add a certain colour to the ingredients depending on what you want them to be.

3 – How To Draw Nigiri Sushi Step By Step

This type of sushi is a piece of fish in a small rice area. It is usually rectangular and a piece of fish taller than the rice sitting on it.

Step 1 – Draw a Fish and Rice Frame

Start by drawing a fish and then add rice to the bottom. Like uramaki, you have first to draw the perfect shape of rice without grains. And when you use a pencil, do this with very simple lines.

Step 2 – Add Rice Details

Draw lumps of rice grains next to the rice frame in the previous step and wipe when done.

Step 3 – Add More Rice to Rice

Add whole grains inside the rice form.

Step 4 – Color in the Nigiri Painting

The colour of this particular type of sushi will be a little harder. First of all, if you want a piece of fish to look like a fish, you can give it simple streaks in the middle, as this is an example of a fish you often have. To show that the fish is moist, you will also want to add light.

If you paint digitally, you can add this over colour; if you paint on paper, you can create white streaks/highlights by colouring them around. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

To make the meat look almost three dimensional, you can also colour the side a little darker than the top. Light often strikes the surface of objects to make it easier.

You can also darken the part of the rice where the fish hangs, as that will cast a little shadow.

4 – How to Draw Ebi Nigiri Sushi Step by Step

And similar to the previous example, this one has a shrimp tail at the top instead of a piece of fish. The shrimp’s tail is cut in half to separate the butterfly.

Step 1 – Draw a Shrimp & Rice Frame

First, draw the upper part of the sushi, this time, it will be a simple shrimp shape. Put a layer of rice under it. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

And when drawing with a pencil, keep your lines simple.

Step 2 – Add Details

Draw on the small parts of the shrimp’s tail and follow the outline of the rice grains, as shown in the example. Remove the frame from the previous step (where necessary) when you are done.

Step 3 – Add More Rice to Rice

Add a few ideas of rice grains inside the rice bed to complete the line drawing.

Step 4 – Color in the Ebi Nigiri Painting

To colour the shrimp, you can make it orange/pink, leaving a little light on the crust / its small parts.

You can also add a little shade next to the rice near the tail. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

5 – How to Draw Tamago Sushi Step by Step

Like the previous two examples, this is an egg omelette silence over rice. The egg is tied to the rice using a thin layer of seaweed.

Step 1 – Draw the Egg and Rice Frame

First, remove the egg, then a layer of rice and finally add seaweed. And be sure to draw simple lines, especially rice.

Step 2 – Add Rice Details

Draw the grains of rice based on the rest of the rice from the previous step and clear it when you are done. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

Step 3 – Add More Rice to Rice

Add a few tips for each grain inside the rice.

Step 4 – Color in the Tamago Nigiri Painting

Yellow the egg yolks lightly, the seaweed turns black and add a little shade next to the rice as the egg hangs on it.

6 – How to Draw Ikura Nigiri Sushi Step by Step

This pattern is similar to maki sushi but has a redfish roe on top. Like Maki, first, draw the shape of the cylinder below and add the roe. Draw lots of roes, each one with very different sizes.

Step 1: Draw the Base of the Volume

As a mark / Muraki symbol, first, outline the main volume text. But make the “cylinder” squished slightly to make it look oval. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

Step 2 – Start Adding Fish Roes

This part may be a little boring, but you will have to draw each fish egg at a time. You usually want to draw the first ones first and then add the ones that go in / out.

Step 3 – Complete the Line Drawing

Keep “mixing” the roe until you have a nice “bunch” as an example.

Step 4 – Color in Ikura Nigiri

Adding color to the ikura nigiri can make seaweed as dark as any other example. Make a roe orange but leave a little light inside the most visible eggs. (Draw a Rice Bowl)

And this is time-consuming but will make the deer look wet, shiny, and has three sides.

Conclusion

Because unusual sushi is the most interesting food to draw, its shape drawing is usually not easy and not particularly difficult with the simplified anime/manga style. There are many types of sushi shown in this tutorial, but you can draw many of them in the same way. Start with the main shape sentences and add small details like fillings, rice grains, etc.… not.

How to Draw an Anime Fox Girl Step by Step https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-an-anime-fox-girl/ https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-an-anime-fox-girl/#respond Sun, 23 Jan 2022 10:10:34 +0000 https://easyanimedrawings.com/?p=153 How to Draw an Anime Fox Girl Step by Step

Draw an Anime Fox Girl – This tutorial shows you how to draw an anime fox girl. It offers tips on making a character look like a fox while maintaining an anime look. The fox girl, or “kitsune” as she is often called, is a popular character in many types of anime and manga with fictional characters.

This lesson focuses on drawing such a character by giving an anime girl features like foxes. The most obvious of these are animal ears, but you can advertise a few other hidden things. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

Please note that you will need to clear parts of the drawing in some steps. So unless you are drawing digitally, it is highly recommended that you start this lesson with a pencil and keep your lines simple. This will make it easier to correct any possible errors. You can trace over your drawing if you feel that everything looks right.

Step 1 – Draw a Fox Girl Head

Start by making a straight line in the middle of your drawing area. This line helps you see if both sides of the head/face are the same width.

Next, as shown in the example, draw a circle representing the top of the head, leaving enough space above it to get into the ears. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

To descend from the circle, draw the lower part of the head. It should be small as it descends, starting with straight lines with angles that change into a pair of curves around areas of the cheeks. These should then be transformed into a pair of straight and vertical lines in the middle of the head and finally connected by a small chin curve.

Step 2 – Draw Neck and Shoulders

To descend from the lower part of the head, draw the neck. Since this is a distinctive anime character, the neck should be very thin than the head.

The neck should change into the shoulder muscles and then the shoulders themselves.

Step 3- Stop Your Eyes

Set the eyes to separate the head in the middle by drawing a straight line and placing it slightly below it. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

In this section, avoid drawing any internal details, which will be added in the next steps.

The character will have a much easier smile, in this case, so that the eyes will be drawn more slowly than normal speech. You can also draw eyelashes/eyelashes slightly bent at the top to emphasize this further.

When you separate the eyes, you want them to be long enough that you can put a third between them, as shown above.

Step 4 – Draw Eyebrows

In this case, the eyebrows will be thicker, especially on their inner edges. He drew above the eyes. The distance between them and the top of the eyebrows (in this particular character) should be slightly less than the length of the eyes.

Step 5 – Stop The Nose

Draw the nose in the middle of the horizontal centre of the head and the bottom of the chin. Unlike eyes, you do not need to draw another horizontal line to place it, but you can if you like.

In this case, the nose will be a small or vertical dot. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

Step 6 – Stop Mouth

Place the mouth slightly above the middle point between the nose and the bottom of the chin (as shown in the example).

In this case, the fox girl will have a simple smile. To make the mouth look more like an animal, paint a smile with the show curves cut in half.

Step 7 – Draw the Fox’s Ears

Yes, the defining feature of the fox girl’s ears. They can be painted directly on the hair, but it is a good idea to have a sense of how they can attach to the scalp. For this reason, we will put fox ears in front of the hair. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

Start by showing the silhouette of each ear and then add parts where the ears turn to show their outer sides.

To give a view of the fur, you can draw a small split at the end of each ear.

Step 8 – Draw Hair Forward

Start drawing the hair in front of the head. In this case, it will be highlighted in red. The hair will be pulled out into large pieces that look like a tail in this particular character.

Draw clumps on top of the ear and head frame. You can wipe the lower parts of the ears (areas where they are covered) but leave a scalp to help you put all the other hair on.

Step 9 – Draw Hair on the Sides

Next, add the side parts (shown in green). In this case, it will be just two large hair follicles shaped like a fox’s tail.

Draw these sets with a slight curve to appear to be “slightly” on the face.

Step 10 – Draw Hair Back

Finally, add the hair on the back (shown in blue). You can draw this section with small dots below that slight exit to the sides. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

When you have finished painting the hair, you can go ahead and wipe the parts of the head/face that are covered with it.

Step 11 – Draw Hair / Fluff

As is common in animals’ ears, you can show a certain amount of hair coming out of them. Draw them like hair in a few large collections, as shown in the example.

Step 12 – Draw Clothes

While you can only see a little bit in this drawing, the body can still show some of the clothes.

In this case, the fox girl will be wearing traditional Japanese clothes. Shrine dress maden or “Miko”.

You can draw a collar with the feature of such a garment, as shown in the example.

Step 13 – Draw Eye Details

Now that all the major parts of the character are exposed, you can add small details like the eyes. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

In each eye, draw a learner with a pair of highlights. You can also slightly show the eyelids by drawing a small curved line above each eye (near the inner end). Next, fill the eyelashes with black or pencil shading and add tips for each lash.

Although the eyes are not exactly alike, the steps of drawing them are very similar.

Once you are done with this step, you can trace your lines with a black pencil stroke. If you feel confident in your tracking ability, you can also use a black pen or marker.

Step 14 – Color

This makes the character look like a fox as if you have yellow/orange hair and ears. Leave the ears white and keep the white areas highlighting inside the hair. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

Please note that it may be easier to add all the white areas over the colour instead of colouring the surroundings if you draw digitally.

You can also leave white ends on the sides of the hair to make them look like foxtails (yellow / orange with white dots).

Next, you can colour the face/neck area and give the fox girl a bright colour. Draw the green as two sets of red lines just below each eye over the colour of the face.

Eventually, you can make the eyes green and the inner part of the collar red (the most common of the “Miko” dress).

If you want eyes that look like a real fox, you can make them orange or brown instead of green.

Step 15 – Apply Blur & Complete Fox Girl Drawing

You can add a little shading and a gradient around the blush lines to complete the drawing.

Just block the red next to the lines drawn in the previous step.

Shadows in this scenario (as in many similar studies here on AnimeOutline) will be added to areas where shade is most likely to occur in normal lighting conditions, such as a well-lit room or day outdoors. (Draw an Anime Fox Girl)

Arrange Shadows as Follows:

  • Completely darken the inner parts of the ears (a little light usually gets here)
  • Some shading inside each piece of soft ear and shadow tips shaped like hair/hair follicles
  • Under the hair on the forehead and sides of the face (hair cast)
  • Inside the eyelids (as these areas are bound, a little light reaches here)
  • On the upper parts of the white of the eyes and irises (eyelashes cast by the eyelashes and the expression of the eyelashes on the irises)
  • On the other side of the nose (from the nose itself)
  • Under the mouth (forms lower lip)
  • Neck in the form of a chin (thrown by the head)
  • In the lower parts of the hair follicles

When you are done applying the shading, you should have a finished drawing of the fox girl.

Conclusion

Fox girls or “kitsune’s” are very popular in anime and manga. Like other characters who have the characteristics of an animal, one of their Characteristics defines the ears. In addition to this, there are some small and vague details that you can add that can make the character look like a fox (as shown in this tutorial).

You usually want to add enough features to indicate which animal you want the character to represent while at the same time maintaining the anime look.

How to Draw Takoyaki Step by Step https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-takoyaki/ https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-takoyaki/#respond Sun, 23 Jan 2022 09:39:08 +0000 https://easyanimedrawings.com/?p=142 How to Draw Takoyaki Step by Step

Draw Takoyaki – This tutorial shows you how to draw Takoyaki in nine steps. Examples focus on drawing in a way that fits the anime and manga and can also work in other styles.

Takoyaki is a common food in anime. It can be found in many venues, from events and festivals to characters who grab fast food to eat. Fried balls are usually stuffed with octopus, covered with sauces mixed with bonito flakes but may have other fillings and greases.

While drawing Takoyaki may seem easy at first, it is not as easy as it may seem. However, do not let that discourage you, as this study provides a very detailed visual breakdown and a description of the drawing process to help. (Draw Takoyaki)

Unless you are digital drawing, you should start with a pencil tutorial and make clear lines as you will need to erase the parts of the drawing in some of the steps.

Step 1 – Design a Takoyaki Container

Start by drawing a container that Takoyaki will enter. In this case, it will be a small cardboard box in which its sides protrude outwards (similar to a vertical pyramid).

The drawing will be done with a 3/4 view and a two-point view. As the view of objects becomes smaller as they move in the distance, the container will be pulled smaller as it moves towards the opposite sides of the viewer.

In this section, draw the container as if it were transparent so that all its sides are visible.

Step 2: Define Takoyaki Balls

There will be six Takoyaki balls in total. Draw them so that they do not fit slightly (not perfect circles) to look natural. (Draw Takoyaki)

Try to resize and place them to fit snugly in the container. If things go wrong the first time, delete that part of the drawing and try again.

You can see the step-by-step classification of the placement in the example above.

Step 3 – Clean Up Drawing

After you have finished drawing the Takoyaki balls, wipe their hidden/covered parts of the container. You should have a clean line drawing like the example above when you are done.

Step 4: Draw the Sauce

Covering the tops of the Takoyaki balls and running down the sides, add the sauce (as shown in the example).

Remember that the sauce has a certain volume in it. So, in addition to defining the moving parts on the sides, you will want to give it a “padding” at the top (shown in the picture above). Then wipe part of the base of each ball covered in sauce.

Step 5 – Draw Flakes

Sprinkle on top of Takoyaki add flakes. When you draw these, you can help to think of them as small rectangles of paper folded and threatened without stopping. (Draw Takoyaki)

Try and distribute them randomly throughout Takoyaki but with the same amount in each so that the painting looks beautiful and balanced.

Step 6: Add Sticks and complete the Line Drawing

Finally, add a few sticky sticks to a few balls to eat (similar to toothpicks).

Then check that the drawing looks good and trace over your lines to darken it.

Step 7 – Takoyaki colour

The colouring of the Takoyaki makes the dark sauce brown with balls of a mixture of orange, yellow and brown. (Draw Takoyaki)

Colour it so that it creates a gradient where the sauce/balls are light on the left and black on the right. You can also colour the light yellow/brown sticks to show hard.

When colouring the sauce, leave small highlights near its bottom edges.

You can see the places you want to place the highlights in the near-top example shown in red.

At first, you can leave the highlights in the white and the surrounding colour, then pass a little over the brown to not shine too bright.

When digitizing colours, add highlights to the end after adding shadows.

Step 8 – Add Shading to Container

The container will be white so you can darken it.

In this case, the blurring will be done as if the light were coming from the upper part of the painting (and slightly left). (Draw Takoyaki)

This means that the front of the left container will be much easier, and the right side will be darker. The inside of the bowl will be even darker as it will also have Takoyaki blocking some light. The ground will be much darker as Takoyaki will also block the light from reaching there.

Please keep in mind that since this is a stylish/simple drawing, you do not need to be precise in the way you place the shadows. You need to give a solid idea of everything so that the drawing looks three-dimensional.

Step 9 – Add Shading to Takoyaki

Finally, you can add shadows to Takoyaki (in addition to the pre-made gradient). Create tiny shading strands running under the sauce and another shading under Takoyaki balls. Depending on how big you draw them, you can also add very small shadows to some flakes.

You can see a large drawing of one Takoyaki ball on top to make it easier for you to see the shadows. (Draw Takoyaki)

Conclusion

Takoyaki is a common food for anime and manga that may seem easy to draw. However, drawing a detail like this in this example can be quite time-consuming. Do not let this discourage you. Looking at real anime, you may notice that many beautiful and intimate food drawings are usually displayed at just one angle. Once the characters have started to eat, the art is usually much easier.

This is because drawing food that looks delicious even with a simplified anime style can be difficult and time-consuming even for professionals. So don’t worry if it takes you a while to complete the course.

How to Draw an Anime Character https://easyanimedrawing.com/how-to-draw-an-anime-character-2/ https://easyanimedrawing.com/how-to-draw-an-anime-character-2/#respond Sun, 16 Jan 2022 15:30:28 +0000 https://easyanimedrawings.com/?p=10 How to Draw an Anime Character

How to Draw an Anime Character – Anime is animation and a popular drawing style from Japan. Drawing anime characters can seem daunting, especially when you look at your favorite anime drawn by experts. Fortunately, anyone can learn to draw anime characters, and the process is easy if you break it down into smaller steps.

Method 1

Drawing an anime head and face

  1. Draw an oval and divide it into four sections

This will be the basic frame of mind for your anime character. The proportions should not be straight, but make the oval thin at the bottom because that would be the chin.

Once you have drawn the oval, draw a horizontal line in the center. Then, draw a straight line that crosses the horizontal line in the middle of it. Later, you will use these lines as guides to remove facial features.

If you want your character to have a broad face, extend the oval bottom to be much smaller than the top.

Or, if you want your character to have a more petite look, make the bottom of the oval much smaller than the top. There is no single theme used for all anime characters, so you can try until you find one you like. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

  1. Draw Eyes Below the Horizontal Line

Anime eyes are large and exaggerated and usually take about 1/4 to 1/5 of the length of the face. To draw one, first, draw a line of the thick top bar under the horizontal line you draw and on one side of the vertical line. Then, draw a bottom circle on the top row, and draw a black reader in the middle. Next, draw a small, horizontal line below the bottom of the lash line.

Lastly, create a circle around the reader, leaving white space to make it look like light is coming from your character’s eyes. Do the same on the other side of the straight line to make another eye.

Tip: Adjust eye shape and size depending on drawing a male or female anime character. To get a female character, make the eyes long and round and add a few thick eyelashes from the top lash line. With a male character, make the eyes shorter and smaller.

  1. Draw eyebrows over the horizontal line

Draw a long, curved line at the bottom of each eyebrow. Make them slightly longer than the top line of the lash line that draws the eyes. Then, wrap the ends of the hurricanes in the center of the face.

When you draw a female anime character, make the eyebrows very thin. The male character tightens the eyebrows to make them more prominent on the face. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

  1. Insert the nose between the horizontal line and the chin

Anime spaces are hidden and are usually only defined if you look at the character from the side. To draw your character’s nose, draw a straight, simple straight line in the center of the face in the center between the horizontal line and the chin. Make the line longer if you want your character’s nose to be more prominent.

Make the nose the minor feature of your character’s face.

The nose will pass through the straight line you have drawn. Make it darker than the straight line, or erase the straight line around the nose for a better view.

Male anime characters sometimes have very bright noses, but this is not always the case. If you want your character’s nose to be more visible, draw a short horizontal line under a straight line to represent the bottom of your character’s nose.

Also, draw a triangular shape on the side of the nose so that it looks like the light hits your character on the side. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

With some anime styles, like the lake, you don’t even need to paint the nose at all!

  1. Draw the mouth between the nose and the chin

Like anime noses, anime lips are subtle and straightforward. To draw your character’s mouth, draw a horizontal line about the size of the space between his eyes.

Don’t worry about painting the lips. Make the mouth the second smallest feature on your character’s face, behind the nose.

Turn the line up if you want your character to smile or smile if you wish them to be upset.

If you want your character to smile and show their teeth, draw a curved line at the bottom of the horizontal line that draws their mouth.

The white space between the curved and flat lines should be about half as long as the mouth is long. That space will be the teeth of your character. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

  1. Put the ears next to the head

If you want your character to have long hair covering the ears, skip drawing ears. However, if your character’s hair is short, draw a small oval on each side of the head.

Make the upper lip line parallel to the horizontal bar running down the center of the face, and make the lower line parallel to the lower nose. Then, draw the ear flaps inside each oval.

Experiment with your character’s ears if you want them to be large or small.

  1. Draw hair on your character’s head

The hairstyle you choose for your character is up to you, but usually, anime hairstyles include straight ends and different sections.

You can style short, curly hair, medium-length style, or long flowing hair. Whatever do you choose, avoid drawing individual strands of hair? Instead, draw large sections of hair, such as 4 or 5 pins at the end. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

If your character has long hair, you can draw two pigtails, one on each side of the head, with pointed ends. Or, you can draw their hair pulled by a circular band at the top. Alternatively, you can give your character bangs by drawing 3 or 4 different sections of hair down to their forehead.

To make your hair short, you can draw 3 or 4 sections of moving hair towards the side of your character’s forehead. Or, you can draw a hairstyle without bangs and draw a few lines running from the hairline to the back of their head to make it look like their combed hair is coming back.

Alternatively, you can draw a chin-length bob divided into several thick sections.

  1. Clear the horizontal and vertical guidelines you have drawn

Wipe them carefully so as not to accidentally remove any facial features. Use a small amount of rubber to make it less likely to make mistakes. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

Once you’ve cleared both lines, your character’s head and face are gone!

Method 2

Anime body painting

  1. Outline your character

Use straight lines for arms, torso, and legs. Make the arms and torso equal in length, and make the legs 1/3 the length. Then draw a triangle or oval for the hands and feet. Make the hands 1/5 the size of the arm, and make the feet 1/6 the length of the legs.

Make your stick frame seven times as long as your character’s head to get the right balance.

Make the arm lines start about 1/5 of the way down the body line.

Let your character frame take any shape you want it to be. For example, if you want your character to sit up, draw their legs to bend. Or, if you want your character to move, pull one arm to turn.

  1. Describe the typical physical condition of your character

To draw on the frame of the number of sticks you have made, draw a solid structure of your character’s body, arms, hips, and legs. Don’t worry about making a draft right now. At this point, you want to represent the different parts of the body with the basic shape.

Draw the ovals of the arms and legs up and down, and then draw a circle in each area of the knees and elbows. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

Equally, make your character’s upper and lower arms equal in height and size. Make their upper legs bigger than their lower legs.

Draw a quadrilateral (4-dimensional shape) wide at the top and narrow at the bottom for the body shape. Eventually, the sweeping corners at the top will be the shoulders of your character.

To define the hips, draw an oval over the torso that meets the upper legs.

Anime characters tend to be tall and thin, but you can try different lengths and shapes!

  1. Connect and improve the standard conditions you have drawn

Trace the outer edges of your character’s body to have a single seamless frame. At this point, start by polishing the various parts of the body to make them look more realistic, such as your character’s hands, shoulders, hips, and neck.

You will have a complete, detailed outline of your character’s body next to the obscure frames you have drawn before when you are done. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

To connect and polish the legs, draw around the outer edges of each shape that forms the legs (upper and lower leg ovals, knee circles, and foot shapes) to have a seamless one. The frame of each leg. Make the edge smooth (without gaps) so that the legs look real.

You can do the same with the arms and body with the upper body. Rotate the torso corners around the shoulders, and draw two curved lines from the center of the neck torso. Also, attach the underlined shape to the hips to the torso and upper legs.

Tip: When drawing a male anime character, enlarge the chest, waist, and shoulders.

When you draw a female anime character, shrug your shoulders, widen your hips, and expose your breasts.

Insert the core to make it smaller.

  1. Clear the rod frame and shape you have drawn

Be careful to erase it so that you do not accidentally remove any refined, final drafts you have drawn. You should be left with a clean, seamless frame for your character’s body without the original guidelines you have drawn inside it when you are done.

  1. Add clothes to your anime character

Draw clothes on the frame of your character’s body. For example, with your character’s shirt, draw sleeves over their arms and the body of the sweater over their torso.

Then, wipe any strands inside the clothes as those parts of your character’s body are covered. For example, if your character is wearing shorts, brush the top of his upper leg inside the shorts as you would not see that part of their legs. (How to Draw an Anime Character)

As you paint the clothes, think about where they would fit naturally if someone wore them. Then, draw creases and folds to make the clothes look more realistic. You can also look at pictures of clothes online to see how they rip.

You can choose any clothing for your anime character. You can think of other famous anime outfits include school uniforms, formal dresses and suits, and traditional Japanese clothing.
