Draw Anime and Manga Ears – This quick tutorial shows you how to draw anime and manga ears from the side, front and back views and explains where the ears are placed towards the head.

Anime and manga ears vary in styles from real to very simple, but there is no single definitive way to draw them.

It is also difficult to have clear instructions for drawing ears in general because of their unusual shape. One good thing you can do is look at some examples as shown in this tutorial or real-ear pictures if you are looking for a natural style.

If you are drawing an anime ear from a side view, it may be helpful to think of it as an egg or an inclined egg on one side.

The above example is of realistic/critical anime styles that often draw attention to traditional art. Some types can make the ear easier in just a few lines.

Anime Ear Placement on the Head

Anime ears are more often pulled down to the head than natural ears. Another way to put anime an ear on the head is to draw a horizontal line between the head and then draw another horizontal line between that line and the chin. Draw ears between the two lines.

To be vertical, draw a line down the middle of the head and slowly pull the ear on the side of that line.

You can move them down slightly from the top line if you want to draw small ears.

An Anime Ear in the Head

For different anime styles or “lake,” you can draw the ears down to the head.

To be placed horizontally, draw the top of the ears near the bottom of the forehead and down the ears near the bottom of the nose.

Conclusion

Anime and manga ears are brought very close to natural ears and can sometimes be made much easier depending on the anime style the artist is going through. Anime ear placement can also change accordingly.

How to Draw Anime & Manga Eyebrows https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-anime-manga-eyebrows/ https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-anime-manga-eyebrows/#respond Sun, 06 Feb 2022 06:26:27 +0000 https://easyanimedrawings.com/?p=500 How to Draw Anime & Manga Eyebrows

Draw Anime Manga Eyebrows – This tutorial shows you how to draw different anime-style eyebrows and manga styles (small, short, and thick/green eyebrows) in different areas (lowered/raised).

Anime and manga eyebrows have many shapes and sizes but usually fall into a few categories.

Anime’s eyebrows are thin.

These are the eyebrows that most anime characters are accustomed to having.

Example 1 – Basic Eyebrows Thin

Eyebrows are very light. Draw these thick ones slightly straight in the middle and then to the end.

You can similarly draw these eyebrows to a situation when you are down. If it is raised (depending on the emotions you want to express), you can draw them in a curve that is vertical or just above the head with the suggested inner ends.

Example 2 – Thick to Thin Eyebrows

They are not very different from the original model. These tend to be thicker towards the inner edge and thinner to the outer edge. Draw accordingly

If you draw these eyebrows in different provinces, you can do the same as the first example. Just respect the perfect shape of the eyebrow and draw the inner edges into a little firmness for each.

Example 3 – One Small Eyebrow

Simple types of eyebrows. Draw these using just one line.

You can draw these eyebrows as described in the first example for different positions.

Short Anime Eyebrows

Some anime characters tend to have very short eyebrows. It is important to note that short eyebrows usually start the same distance from the middle of the face as long eyebrows. It is usually their outer ends that do not go as far as the sides of the face as long eyebrows.

Example 4 – Short Eyebrows

Short and narrow eyebrows are usually thick and straight on their inner edges and smaller on their outer edges.

With different emotions, draw these almost the same as one example but with smaller “waves” when they are lowered.

Examples 5 – Short Eyebrows

You can draw these eyebrows in the shape of a triangle with rounded corners.

When you draw these eyebrows in different places, you can draw them in almost the same shape or fold them slightly to fit the expression.

For the eyebrows to be lowered, bring them closer to the inside of the face and closer together.

When the eyebrows are raised, as in the third figure above, you can just turn the shape upside down.

So that the raised eyebrows, as in the fourth example, pull up on the head without tilting.

Example 6 – Strong Short Eyebrows and Points

It is very similar to the previous model but has slightly different shapes.

You can very well follow the instructions in the previous example when drawing these different areas. You can usually save or slightly align all of them and rotate them as needed.

Anime Eyebrows Thick or Thick

Thick and bushy eyebrows are commonly used in anime and manga. They are very common among male actors, but sometimes female actors can have them.

Example 7 – Thick eyebrows

Anime eyebrows on head

These are the thicker eyebrows version in the first example of this tutorial. Draw these thick ones in the middle and thin them towards their outer edges. Alternatively, you can make them thicker on the inner edges (for example, number two).

You can draw these eyebrows in different places in the same way as described in the first example.

Example 8 – Thick / Forest Eyebrows

These eyebrows are quite unusual. It is usually male actors accustomed to having them, although female actors may sometimes find them as a joke.

Draw these eyebrows with the shape of the “block” correctly.

Once again, you can draw different positions for your eyebrows based on the first example.

Example 9 – Thick Thick Eyebrows / Eyebrows

These green eyebrows are drawn in multiple rows to give them their thickness. This technique allows you to draw thick eyebrows that still look light.

Draw these types of eyebrows in each row, basically following the shape of the other with a certain distance between them.

But draw the different parts of these eyebrows as described in the first example.

Conclusion

There are many variations on anime eyebrows, and you can always experiment by mixing different features from a different model to see what type of character you are getting.

How to Draw Anime & Manga Teeth Tutorial https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-anime-manga-teeth-tutorial/ https://easyanimedrawing.com/draw-anime-manga-teeth-tutorial/#respond Tue, 01 Feb 2022 14:13:56 +0000 https://easyanimedrawings.com/?p=318 How to Draw Anime & Manga Teeth Tutorial

Draw Anime & Manga Teeth – This tutorial shows how to draw anime and manga teeth with side and front painting examples. It also offers tips to put them in the mouth and go through their various styles.

Although anime teeth and simplified manga may seem easy to draw, they are too small.

This Study Covers a Few Different Aspects of Drawing and Contains Three Important Components:

  • Brushing teeth with different ideas/angles
  • Examples of anime-style teeth with a different face shape
  • How anime teeth can be used to show the personality of a character

Often anime teeth are pulled out without the full details of each tooth. They are usually presented as a single composite form or simply by individual dental techniques.

There are rare cases where each tooth is shown, but in that case, they are usually pulled out almost like real teeth. We will not cover that in this tutorial, as you can look at the picture of real teeth if you need such an indication. (Draw Anime & Manga Teeth)

Drawing Anime Tooth With Different Views / Angles

Before removing teeth, it is good to have a rough estimate of how they are placed in the mouth. You can see the dramatic scale in the “see by-pass” diagram above.

The importance of understanding where the teeth are placed on the head should become very clear as you learn the lesson.

When the mouth opens, as if the screaming face drawing above the top line of the teeth remains in the same position (relative to the head). The bottom line changes with the jaw, but its jaws’ position also does not change.

Although you do not need to make visual cues like the examples above every time you draw, it is good to keep these things in mind to avoid mistakes.

Teeth in the Mouth Open – Preview

The example above is a preview of the face from previous examples. In this view, the teeth become more difficult to draw. This is especially true of the lower line, as it is difficult to estimate how much the teeth should rise on the lower jaw at this angle. (Draw Anime & Manga Teeth)

Placing / Drawing Teeth in Difficult Angles

A good strategy (as suggested in other studies here at AnimeOutline) is to use an easy-to-draw drawing from the view to balance the location of the same body part with a sophisticated view.

In this case, you can use a dental side view diagram to produce a line set that will give you a dental placement in the preview view.

While this may seem like a lot of work, you do not need to make a detailed side view as an example. Just make a quick sketch of the frame.

Demonstrated teeth can also help emphasize different emotions, as shown in the examples below.

Smiling Anime Face Teeth

Perhaps the most obvious emotion in showing teeth is a simple smile.

With anime/manga style, you can give just a little hint of the top and bottom tooth line by drawing a few curved lines on each side.

Shock Anime Face Teeth

Another saying that often shows teeth is a scarred face.

Similar to a smile, you can also give a sparkle that separates the upper and lower lines of the teeth. (Draw Anime & Manga Teeth)

Stinging Anime Face Teeth

The side view grin is another common anime face where teeth are shown.

This expression is often coined with the word “fang” to emphasize the violent nature of speech.

Angry Anime Face Teeth

Looking at the angry side is very similar to the previous example.

Like sharp teeth in an angry mouth, they are often pulled out with sharp “tooth” teeth.

Anime Dental Alignment Drawing A Different View

Again, you can see that although the shape of the face and the mouth change, the teeth remain the same. Although you do not need to align them properly when drawing the same character with different ideas, it is usually a good idea to try and keep the teeth in almost the same position concerning the whole head.

Drawing anime teeth to show a character

Sometimes anime characters are drawn with strange teeth. This can help to emphasize a particular personality and give them a unique look. A few examples of this are listed below.

One Tooth Out – Yaeba Anime Teeth

A “single tooth” is often drawn to portray an active and violent character. This is also sometimes known as “Yamba.”

To demonstrate this feature draws the mouth open but pulls one sharp tooth (like a tooth) on one side of the mouth.

Please note that characters are sometimes shown with a single tooth constantly popping out or closed, but this is rare and may seem strange.

And please be aware as this is a high-tech way of pulling teeth, the actual placement of one tooth becomes important, but you still have to try and be at least somewhat accurate. (Draw Anime & Manga Teeth)

Many Sharp Teeth – Anime Shark Tooth

Sharks as sharp as teeth in an anime or manga character can often show a competitive personality. Some characters may have this as a permanent feature, while others may find it only in a certain way.

You can paint them as much as a saw or real shark teeth for this type of teeth.

The example above is another type of shark tooth that may appear when a character grins.

In these types of teeth, you also draw them like a saw, but this time instead of drawing them all in a straight line, you draw them and bend them in the mouth.

Conclusion

High-quality and simplified anime and manga teeth may seem the easiest to draw, but this is not always the case. Different looks/angles, facial expressions, and characters’ styles can make drawing teeth more difficult.

We hope this tutorial has helped you better understand how to draw yourself.
