Draw a small line under the “eyelid” sign. You can also draw a full eyelid line if you like, but this reference line is an excellent way to relax.
Step 4: Iris

Draw a reference line on the small lid below the iris.

Now, draw a character for your character and add simple embossing lines to create shade in the student’s mood.

Step 7: The eyelid
Draw the upper eyelid to make sure the shape is facing inwards. At this point, you will also want to trace the shape of the iris.
Step 8: Highlights
Add highlights! This is undoubtedly the most exciting part! Add a little brightness to the reader and a great highlight to the iris.

Step 9: Cleaning
We can now clean up our rough painting by replacing it with clean, dark lines. Use markers, liner pens, or digital ink brushes to look your best.
