How to Draw an Anime Neck and Shoulders Step by Step

Step 1 – Draw Neck and Shoulders

Anime necks are usually thinner than real necks (especially for female characters). Usually, when the nature of an anime is written in style too much, the channels become much thinner than the head. There is a difference in this regarding the most muscular anime characters. These can sometimes have vast and dense necks, but we will focus on this study’s most common type of anime neck and shoulders.

You can draw the neck a little bit at the top and stretch as it goes down (although sometimes anime necks are pulled just the same width everywhere. From neck to shoulders, there are trapezius muscles. Make sure you draw this with a sloping slope. With style similar to the pattern.

And on a side note, note that the neck is sloping even though this may not be the case with the most stylish anime characters.

Draw shoulders around a quarter of a circle in the front view and close to half a process in a side view.

Step 2 – Draw Column Bones

In anime, skeletons are sometimes not shown at all but are more likely to be shown in nearby squares.

Draw the column bones starting near the shoulder ends, and the trapezius muscles (mentioned earlier) begin. Pull it down to the center of the chest and very close to the center of the body.

On the side view, you can draw a sloping line that ends with a collision of light to show the column bone.

Step 3 – Draw the Neck Muscle

The neck muscles sometimes shown in anime are sternocleidomastoid or SCM temporarily.

SCM moves from between the collar bones to the back of the ears.

If you are drawing SCM in anime style, you do not need to show them ultimately. You can give their suggestion by drawing lines that represent their outer edges and moving about half the neck.

Conclusion

They are drawing a typical neck and shoulders character for anime characters. Much depends on whether you want to simplify your drawing. Detailed drawings can be close to the actual neck and shoulders, and detailed drawings can leave as many details as muscles and bones believe.
